This is a unique twist on a popular pine tree wall hanging. The design is hand cut from 1/8" thick steel using a plasma torch. Then a high polish ground finish is added to create texture and a variation of shine. Then the experienced and arduous task of heating the piece with a torch to take on the many hues of color to the piece.
The heat coloring added to this piece takes on different colors under different angles of light making a unique one-of-a-kind item. No two pieces are ever alike. It is often referred to as painting by fire.
